Summit Medical Center publishes service fees in accordance with the CMS Hospital Price Transparency Provisions.

Payment rates for hospital care provided to insured patients are negotiated with health plans or set by the Federal or State governments for Medicare and Medicaid enrollees. These charges are a starting point for negotiation with the insurance carriers and do not reflect the amount that would be expected from our patients. If you have private insurance and you want to know what your “out-of-pocket” costs may be, your insurance company would be your best resource because it is in the best position to help you understand your healthcare financial obligations.
